| Hi! I'm Nik M Harith a.k.a. Nic M Rayce (English Name) from Malaysia. Currently pursuing in sound engineering and graphic design. I'm a web, multimedia and graphic designer. Been doing these for almost 10 years since I was 9. Photoshop and Illustrator. After Effects, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks . Most of the songs posted are based on my programming ability to use DAW and I am able to recognize notes by hearing and I'm able to hum the notes, memorize them and put it on the computer - but if you give me sheets - I ain't know sh*t about it. Please don't compare me with any artists - especially the ones with proper music-educated background, cuz I honestly know I still have a long way to go. I love all kinds of music. And some of them inspired me so much till I feel like combining all the bits that I love about those musics into my own. That's why I started composing musics since 2008. My idea of music is to fuse different genres into one - making it my own pop song. A little bit of rock, a little bit of industrial, a little bit electronica, rap, ballad, synth. But the most important thing is, I always try my best to find the most simple but catchy melody to make my songs more commercial - e.g. an easy, short chorus with a several repeats in the song to make it more memorable for those who listens them. I've been playing piano and drums for 3 years and now I'm currently learning on how to play guitar (The songs are played using virtual guitar plugins - just so you know - after learning guitar, then, I might be able to perform those power chords live) I'm also a heavy user of FL Studio(Now, I'm heading towards Logic Studio and Cubase) for almost 2 years - about the same time I learn to play instruments. It really contributes more when you know how to deal with DAW (digital audio workstations) cuz' whenever an idea just pops in my head, I can just hum the melody in my iPod recorder, and try to play some keys of it straightly in computer. I can either play the piano live and record it directly - or just play the virtual instrument - piano and insert it in the software to become a song. I'm a fan of sounds - both fancy and weird ones. Those that drives you to the realms of imaginations; full of hopes and wonders. I'm posting some of these songs in Myspace Music is to get myself signed on a major record label such as Warner Bros Records or Interscope or Universal Republic or anything, so that I can promote these songs to the mainstream pop.
